Bremerhaven. (bm) Mondelez International announced an agreement to acquire Clif Bar + Company, leading U.S. maker of nutritious energy bars with organic ingredients, for USD 2.9 billion with additional contingent earn-out consideration. The acquisition expands Mondelez’ global snack bar business to more than USD 1 billion. This acquisition also advances its strategy to reshape the portfolio. Other topics:
